A clean, distraction-free notepad built for people who just want to write. Rich text, images, export to PDF or Word — and everything stays on your device. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking.
Write with headings, bold, italic, bullet lists, and clickable links — a full formatting toolbar that stays out of your way until you need it. Undo, tab indents, and paste-from-clipboard all work exactly as expected.
Insert photos from your device at any cursor position — beginning, middle, or end of a note. Images are compressed automatically and stored inside the note itself, so everything travels together.
When a note is ready to leave the app, export it as a formatted PDF, a Microsoft Word document (.doc), or a standalone HTML page — with all images embedded. No third-party service involved, everything happens on your device.
Tag notes with a colour accent — red, blue, green, or yellow — and find them instantly with the live search bar. Notes are sorted by last-edited time, so your most recent work is always at the top.
Toggle between a deep dark mode and a clean light mode with one tap. Your preference is remembered between sessions.
SmartNotes has no advertising of any kind. Up to 10 notes are free forever. Unlimited notes unlock with a single one-time purchase of $2.99 — no subscription, no renewal.
Notes are stored only in your device's local storage using IndexedDB. Nothing is uploaded to a server, synced to a cloud service, or sent to Thoiba Trader. If you uninstall the app, your notes are removed with it.
There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no third-party library that phones home. The app works entirely offline after installation.
